Friday Sketchers Challenge 41

Had a bit of time for myself this weekend so had chance to make a card for this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge. I haven't used any of my Bella's for ages so it was time to bring them out from the back of the cupboard.

Have used "Inkadinkado - When The Shoe Fits", "Stamping Bella - Imeldabella".

Magnolia vs Stampavie "Week 15"

Heres my attempt for the Magnolia vs Stampavie Week 15 Sketch Challenge.

I'm not sure about the final result, something isn't sitting right with me. Not sure if it's the paper I used or one of the other elements.

The image is "Rachelle Anne Miller - My Prince Charming", the paper is by DCWV, the flowers are Prima & the "Happy Birthday Tag" is from The Eyelet Outlet.

Tilda's Green Birthday

I don't know if it's because there are signs of spring being on the way but my card making is going through a "green" period.

Not all, but the majority of the cards that I'm making at the moment have a green hue to them. I stamp an image and the first colour I reach for is green, I don't even like green !!!

Here is my most recent Tilda card "in green of course !"

The image is "Tilda with sunflower" coloured with watercolour pencils. The papers were freebies with a magazine. the greeting is "Craftwork Cards and I used a couple of "Prima Flowers".

Magnolia vs Stampavie Week 14

Here's my entry for the Magnolia vs Stampavie Week 14 "Colour Combo Challenge".

I've coloured the image using Derwent Coloursoft and Sansador, the green background paper is from the Dovecraft "Fantasy" paper pack, and the other papers and prima flowers are from my stash.

Male Themed Cards

Now I sometimes struggle for inspiration with male themed cards, but when one of my friends asked me to make a Birthday card for her Dad, I set my mind to the task and I quite like the final result.

I used Papermania papers "For Him" and the image is from the Penny Black Clear Stamp pack "Bubbly".

Martyn's Valentine Card

We don't normally do anything for Valentine's Day, but this year I decided to make Martyn a Valentine's Card. I used the Penny Black stamp "embraceable", papers from the Papermania "scrumptious" pack & some love heart sweets.

Birthday Card For Mom

Here's an image of the birthday card that I have made for my mom. This ended up being a last minute rush as usual - Must try to get more organised. I used the Penny Black stamp "flying stars".

I Won !!!!!!

Back in October (I think it was October !!) I actually won something. I won Clare Curd's Sketch Challenge.
Lots & lots of thanks go to Clare and here's the image of my winning card.

My Brownies Christmas Cards

I run a Brownie pack and I always try to make their Christmas cards. Sometimes I run out of time but on this occasion I managed to finish them all. I made 18 in total (6 of each colour) and I used "Pink Petticoat" papers and the image is "Hero Arts - Santa Owl".

Elzybells Christmas Cards

I know we're now in February but as it's a new blog I thought I'd include a few images of cards I've previously made. These are Christmas cards made using Elzybells stamps ("A Winter Song" & "Reindeer & Star".

Bon Jovi

As you might have seen listed in my interests at number 1 is BON JOVI. I have been lucky enough to have seen them in concert 14 times, with my first one being at Milton Keynes in 1989 and my blog wouldn't be complete without a picture of them appearing somewhere.

This picture was taken when Bon Jovi played the Coventry Ricoh Arena on 24th June 2008. We managed to get really close to the front and I ended up taking about 500 pictures (thank goodness for rapid auto shoot, you end up with some really great images). My ambition is to see them play the Giants Stadium (I can but dream !!!)
