Creative Craft Challenge - White on white

Is everyone ready for Christmas yet?  I still need to finish my wrapping, write some cards and cook my mince pies, gingerbread and other goodies.  I know time is running out but I'm sure everything will be finished and ready before the big day arrives.

Anyway it's time for  new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenges and it's our last one of the year.   For this challenge we want to see your "white on white" projects.

For my card I have used the Meljen's Designs image "Bundled little Snowboy" coloured with Koh-i-noor pencils and blended with Sansador.  The DP's are just plain white paper that's been embossed with a couple of cuttlebug embossing folders.

I thought I was going to struggle with this challenge because I love colour but I really enjoyed it and love the effect of the white on white.

Creative Craft Challenge - Stitching, Real or Faux

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge and this fortnight we want to see stitching on your cards, either real or faux.

For my card I have used the Messy Rabbit Rubber Stamp - Baggy Jumper from Joanna Sheen coloured with copics and the DP's are from the Fancy Pants "St Nick" paper pack.

You can just about see my stitching around the outside of the card and as I have so many problems sewing in a straight line, I have discovered the answer to my prayers..... do my stitching in wavy lines....

Craft Calendar December Challenge - Cold and Frosty

It's the first Saturday in December so time for our last challenge of the year over at Crafty Calendar
I'm a bit late in posting because I've just got back from taking my Brownies to see Santa at West Midlands Safari Park.  We had a great day, the animals were fab (the penguins were our favourite), I even went in the bat enclosure (I had to be brave and not show my fear).

Anyway back to the challenge.  This month the theme is "Cold & Frosty" and I decided to go with an image from Lili of the Valley called "Milly Winter Window".  The image is coloured with copics and the DP's are from the First Edition "Christmas Joy" paper pack
