Creative Craft Humorous Challenge

Morning all.  It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Craft and if you want to enter this one you'll need to have your skates on because today's challenge is only lasting one week instead of the usual fortnight.

Our theme for this challenge is "HUMOROUS" and I couldn't decide what to do for my card.   I finally decided on a Bugaboo image of a reindeer, and you can interpret the little gust of wind in the bottom corner any way you like, but he does appear to have a look of shock or surprise on his face..

For my card I have used:
Bugaboo image - "Reindeer Up" coloured with copics
DP's are unnamed from stash.

Creative Craft Challenge - White on White Christmas

Morning everyone.  These Tuesdays are rolling by so quickly, it will be Christmas before I know what's hit me.   It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Craft and the theme for this fortnight is "White on White Christmas" which gave me a chance to build up my Christmas card stash.

This card was a bit of a struggle,   I like colour and found it so difficult to just use white (I did add a little colour to the image, I couldn't help myself....)

For my card I have used:
Stamping Dragon Designs - Snowman coloured with copics and koh-i-nor pencils.
DP's are a combination of white embossed papers (not sure where I got them from, found them hiding at the bottom of the stash)

Creative Craft Challenge - Special Occasion but NOT Birthday

Happy Tuesday to all.   Another fortnight has been and gone which means it's time for a new challenge over at Creative Craft.

The theme for this fortnight is "Special Occasion but NOT Birthday" and for this challenge I have two cards to share,  the reason being that in November we are expecting two new arrivals in the family, my Brother and his partner and Martyn's nephew and his wife are both due to have a little girl so my special occasion is New Baby, which gives me the opportunity to get my baby cards made in plenty of time.

For my cards I have used:
Rocking Horse & Sheep are from the Bugaboo Mini Digi Set - Baby Bits
The DP's are various bits and pieces from my stash.
Sentiments are from Sentiments 4 U

Creative Craft Challenge - It's our 3rd Anniversay

Good morning.   It's our third anniversary over at Creative Craft Challenge...    I feel like I should be bursting into a few bars of "Congratulations" by Sir Cliff (then again with my singing perhaps not!!!).  Because it's our THIRD anniversary the theme for this fortnight is......THE NUMBER THREE.

So it could be that you use three embellishments or papers or perhaps your project is for a 3rd birthday

For my card I have used:
LOTV image "All in a row" coloured with copics
DP's are from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas Vintage paper pack.

Crafty Calendar Challenge - All Things spooky

It's the first Saturday of the month so that means there's a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

I'm a little bit later posting than normal but I've only just got in from work.  This will be the third full weekend I've gone in to work.   It's playing havoc with my crafting time.....I need a day off soon....

The theme for this month is "ALL THINGS SPOOKY" so it can be anything Halloween related with the optional extra of "recycle something".   My card for this challenge  has my biggest nightmare on...SPIDERS !

For my card I have used:

Witchy from Squiggle Stamps  coloured with copics
(Squiggle Stamps are sadly closing at the end of October and currently have 50% off all images)
The papers a combination of magazine giveaways.
The glittery spiders are from a pack that I picked up from Asda.

My recycle something is my happy halloween badge in the corner.  It was on a card that I received last year (hope that counts).

Unfortunately we don't have a sponsor for this challenge because Digi Doodle Shop has closed it doors so the prize for this month is.....we are offering the winner a Guest Designer spot on the next challenge.

It's Tuesday so that means there's a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge and the theme for this fortnight is

For my fantasy card I decided on Christmas fairies.

Good morning.   Today we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge and the theme for this fortnight is "Anything Goes".

I know it's only September but I have made my first Christmas card.  I keep reading everywhere that I should start making them early, and I normally end up the week before Christmas in a mad rush trying to get everything finished so I decided to try and get more organised (I'm hoping this lasts longer than my new year resolution to make a Christmas card every month, which ended the second week of January....)

For my card I have used:

Bugaboo image - Winter Birds Skate coloured with copics
DP's - Dovecraft Back to Basics Modern Christmas

I'm entered this card into the following challenges:

Creative Craft Challenge - Monochromatic Birthday

It's Tuesday which means it's time for a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge and for this fortnight the theme is "Monochromatic Birthday".

For my card I have used:
Image - Some Odd Girl "Balloon Kaylee" coloured with copics.
DP's - Papermania A5 paper pack Liquorice Sherbet".

This is my first attempt at colouring just with greys.  I like the effect but I was so tempted to put just a little bit of colour in, especially on the balloons, but I resisted and I just ended up using C1, C3, C5, C7 and the colourless blender.

Creative Craft Challenge - Just a Sentiment

I'm gripped by Olympic fever that's why my post is a little late today.  I get in from work, cook a meal and by the time I've caught up with the days events at London 2012 the time has just flown by.

We have a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenges and for this fortnight the theme is "Just A Sentiment".....WHAT!  I heard myself cry....no cute images.....but I tried my best and managed to give my copics a rest for this one as I went totally digital..

For my card I have used:
Sentiment and papers - Pink Petticoat "Big Fella" digital collection

It's the first Saturday in August (can you believe it's August already!) which means it's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

For my card I have used:

I think the optional extra of lots of layers is covered, even the balloons have been decoupaged.
